Biodegradable Sunscreen
Surf’s up! Heading out into the sun, we all know to put on sunscreen. But at the store, you may want to grab the biodegradable sunscreen instead of more chemically-filled alternatives. Why? Think of all those chemicals washing off and going straight into the ocean. Plus, the biodegradable stuff is better for your skin too. With that news, it’s time to hit the waves and get a tan.

Organic and Natural Bedding
We spend about a third of our lifetimes dozing off – shouldn’t we do it green?
Organic linens are a great option for the environmentally-conscious. You can purchase bed sheets colored with eco-friendly dyes and treated with non-toxic chemicals. Rest your head upon a pillow stuffed with natural fiber such as wool, organic cotton, or buckwheat hulls (softer than it sounds). There are also several awesome options in organic mattresses, including those made of naturally-comfortable 100% rubber or with rubber and metal springs.
And don’t forget a pair of soft and durable organic cotton flannel PJs! Feeling sleepy…

Just Cool Stuff
I'd like to take a moment to just point out some stuff that rocks. These are a couple of seriously sweet items.
First off, grab a new pair of sneakers because converse high tops now come in hemp.
Then, dust off that vinyl record collection and put it to good use with a vinyl record turned bowl Now that's a chip bowl worth sharing with friends.
What are your must-haves?

Sun Jar
Harness the energy of the sun in a jar This light doesn't need a switch or a plug, just sunlight. Without the harsh glare of light bulb, sun jars can be convenient for reading, or can act as instant mood lighting.
It may even make the person you're setting the mood with look better. Probably not though.

Gadget Green
We missed Christmas, our bad. But you probably still have plenty of birthdays coming up, and you're going to have buy something other than a card or another whoopee cushion. The Green Daily has a list of 2007's Best Green Gadgets, and many of them are a lot cooler than you may think. Solar-Powered chargers, and even a solar-powered messenger bag that charges your electronics inside. Maybe you think that's lame, but so is another year of whoopee cushions.

Stay Warm the Eco Way
As temperatures dip, it’s time to bundle up. For playing in the snow or braving the cold to get to school or work, there’s eco-friendly winter wear. Try a fleece hat created with recycled materials, nettle scarf, and eco wool gloves.
And, once at your destination, a cozy sweater can help keep you warm and the heater on low. Winter has never been so green.
