Amazon's Nifty E-Book
You may not get to show off your sweet book collection, but knowledge is more impressive than the paper it's written upon.
Amazon's Kindle, measuring 19 cm. x 13.5 cm. and less than an inch thick, is a milestone in the literary world's path toward becoming more enviromentally conscious. For those skeptical of the Kindle's ability to replicate the experience of getting cozy with a book, its electronic paper display almost precisely mimics light reflection of actual paper, and it even has a backlight so you can read it in the dark, additionally conserving the energy otherwise emitted from a lightbulb.
If fiction isn't your first choice, it has a wireless network for accessing Wikipedia, The Onion, and your favorite blogs. Not to mention that it looks a lot cooler sliding it in your pocket than lugging around a backpack full of books.
